절벽 위에 집을 짓고 살아가는 사람들을 보며, 삶이란 결국 불안한 곳에서도 뿌리를 내리는 일이라는 생각이 들었습니다.
베수비오 화산 아래 묻혀버린 도시를 떠올리면서도, 결국 눈앞의 풍경이 너무 아름다워 그런 생각마저 잊게 되더라고요.
어쩌면 그게 여행이 주는 가장 솔직한 위로인지도 모르겠습니다.
